Danielle M. Patterson, LCSW (Executive and Clinical Director) (She/her/hers)

Danielle has worked in crisis services, inpatient and intensive day treatments, a trauma clinic, suicide recovery, and integrated care. She believes in treating the root cause, not just the symptoms. She also believes in treating the whole person to achieve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Danielle provides individual, group, and family therapy. Her modalities include trauma-informed yoga, art, DBT, CBT, CBT-E, TF-CBT, TST, EMDR, sand tray, art, and others. Danielle’s dog, Pippa, sometimes joins sessions.

Pippa Patterson (Therapy Dog) (She/her/hers)

Pippa graduated from House of Dog Training Studio in 2022. That same year, she became registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Pippa sees children and adults of all ages. Her modalities include being a living weighted blanket, receiving pets, playing fetch, and going for walks. Pippa works from a strengths perspective and has never met a client she does not love!

Deanna Doughton, LSW (She/her/hers)

As a mom herself, Deanna is passionate about working with youth and their parents/caregivers. She has a particular interest in supporting youth as they navigate challenges associated with today's ever-changing environment, family dynamics, and social pressures. Deanna enjoys working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment related issues, eating disorders, body image, and trauma, especially childhood trauma. She believes in using client strengths and tailoring her approach to the individual, utilizing treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, TST, EMDR, CBT-E, and psychodynamic therapy. She provides individual and family therapy as well as parent coaching. Deanna creates a gentle holding space, considering it a privilege to be able to walk alongside her clients through their journey. She believes strongly in the power of connection and mindfulness. She aims to be a warm, calming, and genuine presence.

Bridget Garner, LSW (She/her/hers)

Bridget enjoys working with children ages 7+, their caregivers, teens, and adults. Bridget is passionate about using creative and age-appropriate techniques to engage her clients in their therapy sessions. She recognizes that caregivers play an invaluable role in their children’s well-being and strives to equip caregivers with tools to support their children and their own mental health. She utilizes evidence-based modalities including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, and TST to tailor treatment to the unique needs and personalities of her clients. 

Bridget, originally from Louisiana, now calls Colorado home. She loves spending time at her local library and is on a quest to find the best iced coffee in Colorado Springs. In her downtime, she enjoys playing video games, reading, and crocheting.

Mali Gartin, LPCC (She/her/hers)

To Mali, counseling should always be a space that is explicitly LGBTQ+ and gender affirming, neurodivergent and disability conscious, and honors each person's cultural background as well as their individual relationship to it. The counselor's role is to continue growing in these spaces to ensure the safety of each client in the counseling space. Mali supports people with identity struggles, relational issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has a passion for working with teens and adults from diverse backgrounds. She uses humanistic techniques drawing from a multitude of counseling modalities such as person centered therapy, existential therapy, DBT, TF-CBT, TST, and CBT.  In her free time, Mali enjoys spending time with her animals, figure skating, playing video games, and TTRPGs.

Jules Cardarelli, MSW, SWC (They/them/theirs)

Caroline works from a strengths-perspective. She enjoys helping clients find and build upon the positives in their lives to overcome their challenges. Caroline likes to work collaboratively with her clients and their families to create a treatment plan that works for them. She is LGTBQ+ friendly and affirming. Caroline strives to make sure her clients feel safe, comfortable, and confident within themselves and with her. Caroline  is passionate about work with trauma, anxiety, depression, family or relationship issues, eating disorders, body image, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She enjoys working with adolescents (12+) and adults. Caroline uses EMDR, TF-CBT, sand tray, CBT, TST, CBT-E, RO-DBT, and DBT.

Kaytie Blan, LPCC (They/them/theirs)

Kaytie values creativity during session with clients by supporting them in the exploration of discovering other ways clients can overcome challenges. They are Trauma-Informed, LGBTQ+ Affirming, Neurodivergent Affirming, and Disability Affirming. Kaytie wants to create a space for their client's to feel empowered to grow and explore new aspects of themselves. Kaytie enjoys working with adolescents (7+) and adults. They utilize TF-CBT, TST, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and art interventions with clients to cater the most appropriate treatment to support the client's goals.

Skills Development Specialists

Starr Rochelle, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Starr’s approach to therapy is one that involves active listening and asking thoughtful questions. Starr believes that a lot of healing can be accomplished when people have room to share their stories. In our fast paced world of sound bites, reels, and tweets,  she finds it important to hold space for authentic listening and processing. Starr believes that every story a person has to share can be important (especially those stories that we re-share over and over) and for lasting progress to be made sometimes we need to go backward before we can go forward. Starr enjoys working with youth and adults ages 12+ who are struggling with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, life changes, stress, trauma. She is particularly passionate about working with BIPOC female-identifying clients.

Kaitlyn Evans, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Kaitlyn is passionate about working with clients who need a safe space to navigate life’s challenges. She understands that everyone has their unique experiences and skill sets, and she believes in developing resilience and empowerment by utilizing a strengths-based approach. Kaitlyn believes our experiences shape us and enjoys learning about an individuals' paths. She is LGBTQ+-affirming and supportive and strives to make the therapeutic environment comfortable. Kaitlyn is the proud spouse of an Army veteran. Outside work, she enjoys weight training and spending time with her family, especially her nephew, and friends. Kaitlyn is a huge Marvel and Harry Potter fan that enjoys watching college football!

Riley Harris, MSW-I (He/him/his)

When not in his MSW program, Riley works part time as a manager at a local pottery studio. Through these diverse experiences, Riley has honed his skills and developed a holistic understanding of the challenges and nuances within the realm of mental health. Riley works with youth and adults aged 15 and above. He is enthusiastic about helping clients explore challenges. He sees therapy as a realm for healing and personal growth. Offering both individual and group therapy, he employs a range of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and client-centered approaches. Riley is committed to a strengths-based approach and integrates principles of trauma-informed practice to foster a welcoming and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. Riley is LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Ally Gloceri, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Ally is committed to working with clients using a strengths-based approach to address trauma and foster self-sufficiency. With a firm belief in the power of resilience and personal strengths, Ally strives to create a welcoming and safe therapeutic environment. Her dedication to using a strengths-based perspective reflects a commitment to uplifting individuals and promoting positive change. Ally is trained in client-centered approaches, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and TST. She provides individual, family, and group therapy or supportive skill-building to youth and adults ages 12+. In her free time, Ally loves to crochet, taking her 60lb dog, Kinley, on long hikes, rock climbing, skiing and her goal is to one day summit all 14ers in Colorado.

Deonna Meza, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Deonna previously interned at a local high school where she enjoyed helping teens develop self-confidence and learning how to navigate the high school setting. In her work with adolescents and adults ages 12+, she utilizes evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, strengths-based approach, TST, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. Deonna is keen to work with those who have experienced or are experiencing trauma, stress, depression, and anxiety.  She is privileged to come alongside individuals as they take the courageous journey towards healing, and empowerment. She is very excited to welcome and see clients and be able to help them in their journey. She really loves Disney, amusement parks, traveling, shopping, and binge watching TV shows!

Beth Williams, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Driven by a desire to help others find their voice and use it, Beth believes in affirming all persons in their individuality, spirituality, and worth. Her goal is to provide an environment of safety, inclusivity and non-judgment. She believes that advocacy can take on many forms, including learning how to advocate for yourself and practice self-compassion in times of pain. She believes that every individual has the heroic potential to heal and find their way through life’s challenges.  Using a trauma informed, strength’s perspective, she helps others look inward to untangle internalized messages of oppression and find hope. Beth incorporates the evidence-based practices of CBT, DBT, MI, and TST to help individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, codependency, religious trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, or other needed crisis intervention. She enjoys working with both teens and adults.

Olivia Buch, MSW-I (She/her/hers)

Over the years, Olivia has worked with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of nonprofit organizations, as a nanny, and as a behavioral therapist. Olivia is a passionate and dedicated social worker with experience in mental health, case management, and advocacy and support services for many groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community and disabled community. Olivia utilizes a trauma-informed approach to therapy that is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and prioritizes creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and respected. Olivia is an LGBTQIA+ affirming social worker and is dedicated to supporting the queer community in her work.  She believes in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Central to this is the recognition of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.

Kylee Davidson, BSW (she/her/hers)

Through her experience working with teens and young adults, Kylee has become passionate in helping support young people as they navigate the often confusing years of adolescence. By walking alongside youth in some of their most vulnerable and formative years, she has found that many are just searching for acceptance and a place where they feel valued. This is the type of environment that Kylee strives to create at the Patterson Center therapeutic after school program, or Club Aspen. When not hanging with teens after school, Kylee also provides supportive skill building and case management services for youth and adults ages 12+. Kylee enjoys incorporating TST, TBRI, CBT, DBT, client-centered, and motivational interventions to support clients in reaching their own unique goals.

Kira Ferguson, BA (she/her/hers)

Kira supports children, youth, and adults in case management and supportive skill-building. She is also a valued part of Club Aspen, our therapeutic after school program. She hopes to foster growth in each youth so that they can thrive in this complex world that so many are struggling to navigate. Kira understands the complexities of being a teen and will bring the compassion and understanding that so many of us are looking for.  She believes that everyone in the world deserves to be seen and know that they are valued for their uniqueness. She finds joy in spending time with her dogs and friends where they often meet up for a hike, swim, or a pick-up game of volleyball.
