Staci Abrams, BA

Staci comes to us with a vast array of experiences having worked in the United States and overseas. She has her Bachelors of Arts in Spanish from Whitworth University and is currently studying to get her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. Staci has worked with children and their families in the foster care system for many years, and mentored young women in different capacities who have experienced trauma.
As the founder of a child development program in Uganda and a mentor for young women recovering from trauma, she walked alongside individuals in their darkest moments, offering professional and compassionate support to local children and their families. In Malaysia she worked with immigrant families, supporting them and connecting with their hardships. She has worked in schools in the US and overseas.
Staci enjoys working with teens and adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors, and other challenges. She believes true healing is possible through both professional interventions and compassionate support. Staci provides individual and group supportive skill-building, case management, and parent coaching. She is also a friendly face in Club Aspen, our therapeutic after school program for youth!
Staci loves to travel and learn about other cultures. She raised her children overseas and has lived in South Korea, Paraguay, Uganda, Nicaragua and Malaysia. She likes being in nature and spending time outdoors. She enjoys staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. Staci is active in her church and enjoys being involved with volunteer activities. Her role as a mother is her greatest accomplishment and loves spending time with her twins who are in college. Staci loves animals, hiking, reading, movies, cafes, and spending time with friends.
