Michael Rodriguez earned his bachelor's in Social Work from Rutgers University–Newark and is currently pursuing his Master in Social Work at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. He currently works as a Client Service Administrator at the Franklin Food Bank, where he supports individuals and families by helping them navigate resources, addressing barriers to services, and creating a welcoming environment for the community. Through this work, Michael has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of meeting people where they are and recognizing the unique experiences each person brings.

Michael offers virtual therapy services for clients of all ages. He works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships concerns, and other life stressors. In his practice, he uses evidenced-based modalities such as DBT, MI, TST, and CBT, tailoring interventions to his clients’ goals and needs. Michael believes that meaningful change begins with building trust and creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. Michael is LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys expressing his creativity through painting, drawing, and designing murals. He also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends. Michael believes creativity, curiosity, and meaningful connections are important parts of a balanced life and hopes to bring those same qualities into his work with every client.
