Kaleigh Rainwater is a Master of Social Work student at the University of Denver. She has experience supporting individuals in crisis through her work with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline where she provided emotional support, safety planning, and resource connection for individuals experiencing distress. Kaleigh also has experience working with elementary-age children navigating grief and serious illness. Additionally, she has enjoyed working with students in special education settings. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to trauma-informed care and empathetic, client-centered support.
Kaleigh approaches therapy from a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and collaborative perspective. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her style is warm and curious, and she works alongside clients to foster resilience.
Kaleigh works with children (12+), adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life stressors. As a student clinician, she is receiving training in evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, TST, motivational interviewing, case management, and client-centered approaches. Kaleigh is LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive.
Outside of her work, Kaleigh enjoys reading and watching a little too much TV. She would love your recommendations for her next show! Kaleigh lives in beautiful Washington State with her cat, Waffles.
