Catie received her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University in 2016 and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Legal Studies from University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has experience working in outpatient, community-based, and educational settings, supporting clients navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and compassionate, with a strong emphasis on building a meaningful and trusting therapeutic relationship. Catie believes deeply in the power of connection and views the therapeutic alliance as central to healing and growth. Her care is strengths-based and grounded in the belief that every individual’s journey is unique, and strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Catie integrates a range of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including humanistic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma systems therapy (TST), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), psychodynamic, and solution-focused techniques. This integrative approach allows her to tailor treatment to each client’s needs while supporting emotional insight, self-compassion, skill-building, and lasting change.
Catie works with clients ages 7+ and treats concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. She is committed to honoring diversity and difference, and welcomes individuals of all identities and backgrounds. Catie is LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive.
Outside of her professional work, Catie enjoys cooking, true crime and spending time with her husband, two children and rescue pup.
